At Baltic Shipping Company, we believe that doing good and doing well go hand in hand. So when the opportunity arose to join a charity cycling event organised by Norden and BIMCO, we didn’t hesitate for a second — especially knowing that every kilometre pedalled would benefit Danske Hospitalsklovne and their incredible work bringing laughter and relief to children in hospitals across Denmark.
The event brought together colleagues and peers from across the maritime industry for a day of fresh air, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to something bigger than shipping. For us at BSC, it ticked every box: a worthy cause, great company, and the kind of physical challenge that reminds you there’s a world beyond the office.
We are proud to support initiatives like this — not just because it gives back to the community, but because moments like these strengthen the bonds that make our industry more than just a business. The maritime world runs on relationships, and few things build those faster than suffering up a hill together.
